“Misstinguette” is the most Parisian hat created by Cécile Descombes . It was created to complete the collection: “Heart Attachement”. This collection of hats is composed by the emblematic creation of her brand: a small heart-shaped “bibi”crossed by a feather. This “BIBI” (french name to name a hat which fits on the head thanks to a headband or a ribbon)
Why did you choose a red heart as the emblem of your brand? ” I work with my hands but my hats are inspired by my heart …” my inspiration comes not only from what I see, but also from what I have experienced, of what I live and feel. More precisely, my creations are a real means of expression, a reflection of my emotional state. My mood and my state of mind when I work, dictate and condition my creations. The interest that I take in the occasions for which a creation will be worn as well as the affection that I carry for the person who will wear my hats are very important in the making of the hat. Love is at home the common thread of my creations. The heart is the symbol of love, but also of feelings, emotions and intuition, it is therefore very naturally that this little red heart landed. On my head to never leave me and become my Logo”.
